In Dialogue: Brandi Leifso, Founder Of Evio Beauty, On Community And Moving Women Forward

One of the privileges of writing this column is getting to talk to other socially engaged, entrepreneurial women. Women, I believe, have a duty towards each other: to lift each other up and share our resources in a society that all too often treats us as disposable. But not all experiences are the same, and my experience of systemic sex discrimination as a successful businessperson from a middle class environment is far from universal. So it’s a duty, yes, but also a privilege, to highlight women from all walks of life who have embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with their communities in mind.
